Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how the free trial, billing, cancellation and refunds work for your Spatova subscription. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to the relationship between Spatova ([LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME]) and the studio that subscribes, not to the sales your studio makes to its own students.
1. 1. Free trial
Try Spatova free for 14 days. You won't be charged today. When the trial ends, your subscription continues automatically unless you cancel before then.
Your trial starts when you complete Stripe Checkout and add a card. We store your card details so we can activate your subscription when the trial ends, but we do not charge you anything during those 14 days.
What happens when the trial ends
- If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and the first charge is made to the card on file.
- If you cancel at any time before the trial ends, you won't be charged anything.
2. 2. Billing & renewal
Once your trial ends, your subscription renews automatically on a recurring basis (monthly by default) until you cancel it.
Each charge is taken in advance from the card you have on file, at the start of each billing period.
Prices shown may exclude taxes. Where applicable, VAT or other applicable taxes will be added based on your country.
If we ever change the price of your plan, we will notify you in advance before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can decide whether to continue or cancel.
3. 3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel after a paid subscription has started, you'll keep access until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Started billing periods are non-refundable, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
How to cancel
- Go to your studio dashboard and open Plan / Billing.
- Click "Manage subscription" to open the Stripe Customer Portal.
- From there you can cancel your subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After you cancel, you keep full access until the period you've already paid for ends. No further charges will be made from that point.
4. 4. Refunds
As a general rule, billing periods that have already started are non-refundable, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds for unused time within a period that has already started.
- The 14-day free trial is your risk-free, no-cost opportunity to evaluate Spatova before the first charge.

5. 5. Failed payments & suspension
If a subscription payment fails (for example, an expired card or insufficient funds), we do not cut off your service immediately.
Grace period
- You have a 7-day grace period during which we'll send you email reminders to update your payment method.
- If the payment is still unresolved after that period, your studio's public marketing website will be paused.
- Even so, transactional surfaces stay live: your students can still book and pay for their classes and products.
As soon as you pay the outstanding amount, everything is reactivated automatically, including your public website.
6. 6. Statutory rights
This policy does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law.
Please note that customers who take out Spatova as a business or professional (business use) may have different rights from individual consumers. Where this policy conflicts with an applicable mandatory legal right, that right prevails.
7. 7. Chargebacks
If you have any problem with a charge, please contact us first at [CONTACT_EMAIL] before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve things faster directly with you.
Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks — for example, disputing charges for services that were actually provided — may lead to suspension of your account.
